As usual my night is filled with crisis after crisis, always bordering on the APOCALYPTIC.
I heard screaming. My first thought, the obvious, Danger!
Turning from my conversation, I looked out the window toward the sand, the rocks, and the ocean. Whatever it was, it was huge. I detected movement - sliding, writhing - then mottled coils coming up onto the rocks. I shivered. From the waves reared the great head of a serpent. SNAP - I saw blood. People scrambling to the shore and up the beach. Nausea. SNAP, SNAP, SNAP! The heat in my body leaving like I was standing under a running tap. And in all that time, all I did was stand there.

Now, I was directing everyone to safety on a bus. We were on a road running past an ocean that was threatening to swallow us! Not to mention the other thing out there threatening to not just swallow, but to gnash, and crunch, and break!
- GAP -
We were on the road fleeing into a warehouse. We locked everything up in no time. My body was moving on it's own; numb, but for the feeling of ice racing through my veins. Cold, cold fear.
- GAP -
A young man is walking toward me - black hair, pale skin, and deep, dark eyes - his movements so fluid that I could have sworn I heard the slither of coils following behind him on the cool, smooth concrete. Again that feeling, Danger! My sense of temperature is gone. Cold or hot? All I can feel is my heart racing and my ears ringing with, Danger! Danger! Danger! A small, knowing smile. Eyes bright with amusement. Mirth. "Hello."
Finally, I answered, "Murderer!"

And now I'm ordering Chinese dumplings from a street vendor?
Then I woke up...
Is this the end? Or will I dream this dream again?
